Description

Sodexo is seeking a registered dietitian to manage clinical nutrition programs and patient food service at a 120 bed acute care hospital in Kokomo, IN. St.Joseph Hospital is proud to be named a 2009 Best Places to Work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce. The Clinical Nutrition Manager will have responsibilities in Clinical area 30 % of the time and 70 % responsibility for supervision of patient food service. In this role the Clinical Nutrition Manager will directly supervise two registered dietitians.

The Clinical Nutrition Manager will ensure patient satisfaction, perform gold check audits, and in service trainings. This position leads our At Your Request - Room Service Dining® program, which incorporates a traditional restaurant approach to meal preparation / delivery and ensures a more positive dining experience for the patient. Most qualified candidate will be a registered dietitian with 2 years clinical and supervisory experience. Requirements

Coordinates and directs the efforts of clinical and patient care dietitians, as well as other staff members within one or two sites. Responsible for meeting JCAHO/state/federal and company standards. This position is the primary liaison with medical and nursing staff. Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: 1 year of lead hourly/supervisory/management experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.Position Posting Title: Clinical Nutrition Manager 2
