Minimum qualifications:
Ph.D. in chemistry or closely related area by August 19, 2010; evidence of potential for excellence in teaching; evidence of potential for excellence in research.
Preferred qualifications:
Postdoctoral research experience; teaching experience at the collegiate level (e.g., teaching assistant, instructor, assistant professor); research interests that focus on an area which complements the department’s existing research programs.
