Position Purpose
This newly created position is responsible for increasing the partnership between Sales, Customer Service and Engineering. This Senior Manager will guide cross functional leadership teams of Senior Managers and Directors in creating strategy for improving employee and customer perception of network coverage. In the short term the Sr. Manager of National Sales & Engineering will also build on the Adopt-a-Store foundation and launch a new program called Sales & Engineering Local Liaison. Longer term, this position will help drive improved performance in our Sales and Engineering teams by focusing on high-value initiatives that grow new customer additions and reduce churn. Finally, the position will also be responsible for deepening understanding and building advocacy for our quality coverage and network improvements so our frontline employees in both Customer Care and Sales understand our great coverage story and can boast about it.
Responsibilities
* Create Sales & Engineering Local Liaison with Retail & Retail Partner Sales
* Drive the Employee Coverage Communication Campaign
* Improve the selection of new distribution in both Retail and Retail Partner Sales
* Develop strategy to analyze and reduce churn and grow net adds and drive high value initiatives in both Engineering & Sales
* Interact with senior executives in Engineering, Sales and Customer Care on a weekly basis. Influence the decision making in each organization by developing overall company strategy and driving national tactics.
Required Skills
* Ability to develop sales, engineering and customer care strategies and tactics that will help improve network perception both internally and externally
* Be comfortable interacting with the senior leaders in Customer Care, Retail Sales, Retail Partner Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Corporate Communications.
* Have outstanding written and interpersonal communications skills, be self-motivated and assertive.

Requirements |
Experience and Education
* Must have experience in managing people, complex projects and operational systems. Get results by completing key initiatives with Engineering teams, Sales units, Customer Care teams and Operational groups.
* Have experience defining strategy and leading market based decision making for key cross-functional activities
* Have experience communicating with senior executives to ensure new strategy and tactics are effectively communicated and implemented nationwide
* Appropriate undergraduate degree in either Business or Science is required and a Masters degree in Business Administration is preferred.
