The Whiting Business Unit comprises of a 410 kbsd petroleum refinery. It is the second largest refining asset owned by BP and is the fourth largest refinery in the United States. The refinery resides on 1,400 acres and stretches across three communities, one being Whiting, Indiana. Whiting is located in the Chicago metro area about 15 miles (about 30 minutes) south of Chicago along Lake Michigan at the border between Illinois and Indiana. These are exciting times for Whiting as we are well into the process of repositioning the Refinery by increasing its ability to process Canadian crudes through the Operation Canadian Crude (OCC) project.
Extensive experience in all aspects of project services, cost and schedule planning, controls, analyses, forecasting, reporting, project information management, benchmarking, contracts, project and financial interaction, claims management and managing teams.

Requirements |
15 years or more experience in the refining or petrochemical industry required.
15 years or more experience leadingoject controls required.
8 years or more experience as a supervisor required.
Bachelor of Science required.
