˘Responsible for training and development of Inventory Control Specialists and Inventory Coordinators.
Must also be fully cross trained with those individuals to serve as backup.
˘Ensure that physical inventories are performed in compliance with the Corporate Controller´s Policy.
˘Act as Sarbanes Oxley (S-Ox) sub-Process Owner
oEnsure adherence to all WMS/S-Ox policies and procedures related to inventory, balancing, cycle counts, overdue mills and past due shipments.
˘Monitor product availability and ensure adherence to daily precut process.
Work with planning and customer service to resolve PA issues on a daily basis.
˘Ensure cycle counting on a timely basis and all period end reports are run in compliance with the Cycle Count process in lieu of physical inventory.
˘Provide leadership for effective resolution of replenishment and fulfillment related issues with the plants and customer service team.
˘Communicate with campus manager and third party facility manager on the planning of upcoming customer promotions
˘Work with Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the following:
oDaily balancing of WMS to DCS and WMS to SAP is done in compliance with S-Ox requirements for Service Center and any OSW.
oMonitoring, tracking, and correcting of shipping errors.
oProper invoicing of customer shipments in SAP.
oProper information is provided to corporate damage team for freight claim reconciliation.
oApproriate activation and de-activation of UPC codes in DCS and/or SAP.
oMonitoring of all inventory reports.
oImplementation of proper Quality Hold procedures
˘Work with Inventory Coordinators to ensure the following:
oAging inventory report is monitored on a weekly basis to ensure appropriate First In First Out (FIFO) product rotation.
oProper coordination of product donations, dumps, and employee sales in conjunction with all corporate guidelines.
oProper reconciliation of lost product.
oEnsure appropriate procedures are followed for offering, entering, and monitoring of GMR orders.
˘Manage Reverse Logistics process.
˘Review detention invoices for payment.
˘Freight claim management
˘Reconcile EOP reporting around Lost Location, customer deductions and damage.
˘Manage WMS set-up for item maintenance.
˘Manage WMS checklists (Inbound Message Logger Report, Strange LPN, Plant Designators, Locked Locations, etc).
˘All other duties as assigned

Requirements |
˘Bachelor´s Degree in logistics related field preferred.
˘Three to four years experience in inventory control, logistics operations, or related supply chain function.
˘Supervisory experience is a plus.
˘Must possess strong interpersonal skills, and show an ability to work and participate effectively in a team environment.
˘Strong written and verbal communication skills.
˘Must possess strong analytical skills, including problem analysis and resolution.
˘Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management.
˘Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, M204, Inventory Mgmt, FACS, and WMS, preferably Red Prairie DM+ or DLX software. SAP experience is preferred.
